Drilled with the pin over the ring finger, cg in the palm, no extra hole.  Polished the cover with Factory Finish to get some length on drier conditions.  This is another very versatile ball from Ebonite.  The cover is fully adjustable depending on your needs and the hit is excellent.  I tend to use this when my Vortex 2 is burning up a little early.  The higher rg core and polished cover gets it down the lane with a nice hard arc to the pocket.  For the money, you will not find a better all-purpose ball.

This review is on the 2 piece pearl. Pin is just uner ring finger and cg just off palm. 16-17 mph ball speed andslightly above avg revs. The ball gives a great mid lane read and a nice HARD arc to the pocket. I use this as my "goto" ball for most conditions in my area. I've had the ball for4 weeks now and have shot between 670 and 730 with it in all my leagues(avg 215). Only problem I've found is the ball does not like carry down. If I have some back ends theball hits like a truck and scores well. Very controllable. 9.5 out of 10

PART #1 - SOLID

this is a good ball. used it dull first and got a smooth earlier roll.
even worked on some oil. tried it on wood an synthetic and got excellent reaction and hit on both.
polsihed a bit(around 1000) and it got up the lanes better, but still hooked.
still works on oil, but you have to be careful not to over throw it.
has more backend polished than dull with same results on the score sheet.

excellent control ball on most conditions. havent used it on a tournament shot yet.
i rate this ball a 9 of 10(especially for the price)!!!!

drilled it close to 3 3/8 leverage

dont let this ball fool you.. its an aggressive ball. more than i anticipated

PART #2 - PEARL

drilled this ball to compliment my solid.
pinned it in the bridge with the cg kicked out under the ring finger

boy did this ball work wonders on a drier condition.
gets excellent length through the heads with smooth controllable backends.
left in out of box finish.
 hits a ton.
looking for a good drier lane ball, this is your answer. i can only imagine what it would have been like if i drilled more aggressively.

I got this ball free from my friend. I have this ball drilled for a lefty. PP about 1/2 inch under the ring finger and cg about an inch down. This ball is much better than I thought it would be. I first used it on my dad's desert dry house lanes and didn't to to well. The ball would come in way high and leave a lot of splits. I took it back to my synthetic house lanes for my thursday high school league and shot 231,205,and 226. I would recommend this ball for med oil. If you're looking for a late reactor for real dry lanes, go for the bvp punisher or the ice.
