Hello,

Great Ball.  Very clean through the front and continuous on the back. The particle cover definitely decreases its sensitivity to oil providing more consistent break point.

Another good one!!!

I drilled mine a bit weaker (5.25" X 3.5") very predictable depending on your tilt, rev rate, and ball speed. If I tilt the ball it will corner hard. If I come up the back it is even rolling. Of course increased or decreased rev rates act accordingly. When I drilled it was a bit cleaner than what I expected, So I touched it with the 1000 abralon pad. It has been great ever since. This ball has definitely made the traveling team....

The PrimeTime by Ebonite is a Cat Lover's dream.  The emerald/gold particle cover and core combination will sell due to looks and performance.  The Savage Flip and other pearl reactive balls can sometimes squirt a bit in the fresh oil, if that is an issue for you then the PrimeTime may be your ball.

The PrimeTime was drilled with the pin at 4 1/2 inches, the mass bias in a strong position and no balance hole. The starting pin was 3 inches out, and the starting top weight was 3 ounces. The ball was used in box condition.

The conditions bowled on thus far include, 38 ft choppy wood wall, 36 ft second shift wall on proanvilane, 36 ft medium load sport pattern on proanvilane ,and a 39 ft medium load sport pattern on proanvilane. PrimeTime gets considerable length and has a late strong arc similar to the Savage. The roll of the PrimeTime is predictable and should fit in between the Killer Instinct and the V2 Clean on wet/dry conditions. On the 36 ft sport condition, from an inside angle this ball still made it back from the track after the Killer Instinct Pearl started to burn up.  On the choppy wood surface the PrimeTime calmed down the overreactive midlane as the lane broke down and on the cold days where the backend was really moving.

PrimeTime is a very nice addition to my arsenal, and I recommend it to those who have liked the Savage line or the Vortex 2's and the Vortex Afterburner.

I was able to throw this ball at the Ebonite Demo Day here in Brookpark, Ohio back in the middle of December. You can check my profile for my specs, but just know that I have good speed and a lot of hand.

All of the balls at Demo Day were drilled with the pin under the ring finger and the cg stacked below.

My first impression of the Prime Time was length and versatile backend. I got to throw this ball on 2 lanes with different volumes of oil. One lane was oiled heavily in the middle, with some dry bump outside of 5, and not much dry on the backend. The other lane was pretty much burnt up from earlier play on it.

On the oil lane, the Prime Time skidded long, very long, before arcing to the hole. It wasn't tremendous in the oil, but the hit was decent, meaning I didn't see deflection or flat tens. It wasn't as hard as the Killer Instinct Sanded or the V2 Clean, but it did the job. Finding the dry bump gave the ball a snappier look to it and harder hit.

On the burnt lane, this ball gave me the most skid of any ball through the heads of everything I tried. However, with that skid came a hard snap on the backend. The hit on the burnt lane was much harder obviously. This ball was very similar to the V2 Clean for me, but the Prime Time gave me a more skid/snap look on the lane.

This ball for me would be tremendous on burnt heads. Its backend depends on the amount of oil you cross, but it does bite a little in good oil if you have hand. This was a straight out skid/flip ball for both crankers and straightees. The versatility of this ball increases if you have good hand, as it won't give good oil bite for strokers, but if you are looking for skid/flip in a mid price ball, this is a GREAT choice for you.

Well another favorite of mine.  The prime time is a very controllable and predictable piece of equipment. We recommend and sell alot of the prime times because of its ability to be continuous and controllable.  The price is very attractive too.  Definitely a ball to have in your arsenal.

If you want the caveat on this ball BTM Mag has it pegged. The prime time has great length and is very clean through the heads but when it hits the dry it is all read.If I keep it in the oil it will not hook, but as soon as it gets a smell of dry it will turn the corner, plays alot straighter than I expected and that was a good surprise.I will reevaluate after I get it away from my home house and on a few other conditions. till then remember. Another great ball from Ebonite. This ball is very clean for me. Heavy oil is not the pattern of choice for this ball. I have had success on medium condition either playing in and hooking the ball or moving right and playing more direct. Great recovery when it hits the dry boards without an overreaction. (the Savage Flip was kind of an over/under ball reaction)

I set my Prime Time up, 3 1/4" pin 1 1/2" above grip midline stacked, weight  hole on pap.
I was looking for midlane read between Pearl Savage and Killer Instinct. Once I sanded it with a 4000 Abralon pad I got what I was looking for. The Prime Time gets down the lane easy makes a strong arc type move and continues to the pocket. When it hits it keeps the pins low. From what I have seen you can achieve a hook shape from sharp to arc. This means versatility.
I feel this ball is a sleeper for Ebonite. Like the V2 once the bowlers find out how good the Prime Time is they will all have one, or in my case have two

Just got mine, however did not get to use it for more than a few frames before disaster struck. Third game, frame 8: sent it too wide, an obvious channel cleaner. Suddenly as the ball is tipping, ball jumps up a bit with a loud CRACKing sound. Several pieces left on the lane. Could hear it thumping through the return. Large part of ball, area about as big as a playing card, sliced off the side. Perhaps a nail or burr on the channel edge?? Thankfully the House is getting me a replacement

This has got to be one of the best balls I've ever used. The first time I threw it, I was late for league and had no practice and had the front nine with it and went on to shoot 790. This ball just rolls perfect for my roll. The pin is 5 1/4 from my axis above bridge. The pin CG and thumb are in line. This ball does everything I could want out of a bowling ball. It gets threw the heads clean, doesn't move in the mid lane and is very clean on the back end. The ball never over reacts on backend. As you can tell I like this ball a lot and I think you will to.

I have a few games on my replacement PT. Pin out 3 1/2 CG 2 below ring, pin 1 1/2 to the right of ring. Rolls very nice, reads mids well, hits like a bus. I did not expect this ball to make big moves but it does move quite a bit. Bowled on some very dry the other night and had trouble keeping it to the right. An Excellent ball IMHO

I got this ball from my cousin for free the other day , got the thumb opened and new inserts, rolled it on oily lane and this ball is very predictable , u jus have to adjust untill its right. im a average ball speed, alot of revs, short backswing.   "People say my form is like brian voss. anyway, i shot 245+260+250 to equal 725 in practice . i bowl in league saturday so ill roll it then i also have a 96 DangerZone they need to make post on that. Prime time is layout with pin under ring, cg down a little right and weight hole kickout (real small weight hole

This ball is drilled with a 4” pin and the CG 4” from my PAP in a stacked formation with a hole 1” below my axis. This ball is clean through the front part of the lane, does not read the midlane early and has good recovery on the backend but does not overreact. Makes a smooth move toward the pocket. I sanded mine with the 2000 Abralon pad to prevent the ball from squirting too much through the front. A good control ball.
