And that it does. On the Ebonite stats, it says that the backend rating is 8.7 or thereabouts but think it is more like 6.5 personally. Well back to the ball, it is very consistent and powerful. Whether it be I chose to get this ball 15lbs or not, this ball hits as hard as anything else including the Ultimate Inferno.
I heard on bowlingballreviews.com that a guy said the ball left the weirdest splits and carried nothing. It is true. The first time I threw it. I left so many ten pins it was not funny. The craziest pocket splits you've ever seen. I thought the ball was a piece of crap, but I kept working with it. Every week, it seems to get better and better. If it is light, you can expect a ten pin, but flush, this ball crushes the pocket like no other. Also carries brooklyn better than my other equipment. This ball drives real hard, cost me 10 in row. Left a stone nine.
For the buck, this ball gives you the bang anyone is looking for. Consistency and power, hook and continuation. For $60, you cant go wrong with this ball. On medium-heavy oil, this ball is the best. I cant say enough good things about this ball. Only thing is go out and buy it, you wont be sorry.
Have used this ball for about 5 times in league and I shot under 600 once. First week shot a 645, next a 496(whoop de doo), 615, 687. Make that 4 times in league. Considering no one in our house is carrying anything over 205, these scores mean more to me than most of you in the easy houses, where you close your eyes and chuck the ball and strike. Here, repetition and consistency are a must.
