Drilled this ball 4in. 90 degree, with the pin up above ring finger About 1/2 in.
ball was very strong in out of box condition on medium oil, wanted to roll to early in mid lane with my 14 - 15 mph ball speed, so I polished it just a small
amount and it made a total different ball, clean through the heads and good length and good move on the back. A very good ball, no squirt or over under.

Asked the driller to drill the ball to get through the heads with ease yet maintain a strong midlane and backend reaction. And that it does. On the Ebonite stats, it says that the backend rating is 8.7 or thereabouts but think it is more like 6.5 personally. Well back to the ball, it is very consistent and powerful. Whether it be I chose to get this ball 15lbs or not, this ball hits as hard as anything else including the Ultimate Inferno.

I heard on bowlingballreviews.com that a guy said the ball left the weirdest splits and carried nothing. It is true. The first time I threw it. I left so many ten pins it was not funny. The craziest pocket splits you've ever seen. I thought the ball was a piece of crap, but I kept working with it. Every week, it seems to get better and better. If it is light, you can expect a ten pin, but  flush, this ball crushes the pocket like no other. Also carries brooklyn better than my other equipment. This ball drives real hard, cost me 10 in row. Left a stone nine.

For the buck, this ball gives you the bang anyone is looking for. Consistency and power, hook and continuation. For $60, you cant go wrong with this ball. On medium-heavy oil, this ball is the best. I cant say enough good things about this ball. Only thing is go out and buy it, you wont be sorry.

Have used this ball for about 5 times in league and I shot under 600 once. First week shot a 645, next a 496(whoop de doo), 615, 687. Make that 4 times in league. Considering no one in our house is carrying anything over 205, these scores mean more to me than most of you in the easy houses, where you close your eyes and chuck the ball and strike. Here, repetition and consistency are a must.

Ya, i got this ball drilled at Country Lanes in Ishpeming.  It is great on anything from light to medium heavy oil.  It catches the lanes like no other.  The first time i used this ball i slightly noticed the awkward splits but after that, this ball just crushes the pins.  When you hit a heavy pocket or light pocket or anything between you can usually expect a strike.  The ball hits and stays in front of the pins instead of cutting through, reducing your chances to get spilts because the ball is bouncing back and forth from pin to pin.  The only time you can expect a split is if you head dead on the head pin.  Going brooklyn with this ball works better than any ball i have ever seen, you dont have to worry about that lousy 5 pin or 9 pin getting left together for an annoying spare shot.  If you accidently go brooklyn and touch the headpin anywhere they are gone! I have had this ball for about 6 months now and the reaction is just great. i give this ball a 9 out

Update: I have recently retired this ball due to its early roll down the lane.. for this sanded ball i now find it useless to my newer bowling techniques do to attended "super school" (a top rate bowling pro course).  It really absorbs too much oil and is sometimes impredicatable.. my new arsenol consists of a Storm Clear Polyster, Storm Tropical, Columbia Backyard Bully, Storm Ace, and Storm Vertigo!

I recently purchased this ball which was my first bowling ball.  I have spent nearly three months of actively using house balls and shoes.  Iam certainly not an advance player by any means, nor do i have much knowledge of the sport.  However, i have great interest in improving my game so i purchased this ball.  My opinion is that for the $55 bucks i paid was extremely well worth while.  I got a fingertip grip on the ball, which i had never used before, and by the third game of using it i bowled a 176, which is about 20 above my normal average.  However, the ball hooks too good, and when i played on a dryer lane i was consistently missing the pocket. The only strikes i was hitting were brooklyn.  I do plan on buying some polish to experiment with for when i take it to the dryer lanes, however in the heavy oil she hooks like a beauty.  Once again, i am not too experience in the sport, but for the money, or a first move to a performance product i think its a great produce.

FYI... I purchased my ball recently @ Buddiesproshop.com
