I truly love this ball.(and no I'm not partial) I drilled two. One was drilled with the pin down underneath my middle finger(out the box surface). The other was drilled with the pin down(1000,2000 abralon)with a weight hole near the thumb to get a little more forward roll. I love these balls. I can throw the one with surface on fresh oil and the out the box one when the lanes transition(breakdown). The Game On gets down the lane with a controlled roll similar to that of the Playmaker and Smash. This ball is very smooth but still manages to carry the corners(most important part)!!

Game On - Drilled with pin to the right of the ring finger (above) and the CG is about 2 1’2 inches below pin and towards center of span.  Out of box finish.

This ball goes long and has an even arc to the pocket. I primarily use this ball when the heads break down really bad and I need something polished to go further down the lane before turning on the backend. It is very clean getting through the dry and has a controllable arc to the pins.

Happy Holidays everybody,

I have been throwing my Game On balls for a couple of weeks now, and I think I can give an honest evaluation.

The first one I drilled was a 50 X 4.5 X 30 with a hole on my PAP. Surface was lightly hit with a worn 2000 grit pad.

I had trouble adapting this piece to my playing conditions. It was a bit condition specific for me personally. I tried scuffing it with 1000 and re polishing, fresh 2000, and 500/4000. Nothing really clicked.

The second one I drilled was a 60 X 5.5 X 30 with no hole. this placed the pin above my middle finger with the CG just left of my grip center. Much better reaction with this one. I don't know how to explain it, but the ball can be tuned for different conditions as this cover does take adjustments well.

I've used it successfully on short (cheetah), Kegel's Middle of the Road, wet/dry house shot, fried heads/carrydown, etc.

I never had a lot of success with the Game Plan, but I am liking this Game On. Ebonite has truthfully marketed this product as it is longer and a bit stronger than the Game Plan.

I loved the Lane Breaker, and when I saw how similar the covers were I was ecstatic.

I'm going to close with this. I went back and tried to remember how I drilled a few of my Lane Breakers. The common denominator was that I never used an extra hole in those pieces. I should have taken that into consideration perhaps when I mapped out the first Game On.

Likes: Took the cover off the ball to get a more consistent roll. At 2000 it rolls really smooth with just enough pop to get the corners out when you throw it well. I will get a lot of use out of this ball on all medium oil lengths with some volume.


Dislikes: Didn't like the ball with the out of the box polish. The 1000 polish caused the ball to be a little over under for me. It would jump to much off the dry and not enough in the oil.

The game on rolls alot like the game plan but cleaner through the front part of the lane and more continuous on the backend with a more angular motion.  Layout on this one again was my favorite at 60X5X35.  Bowl to win!
