This ball is Absolute MAGIC!!!!! I was fortunate enough to demo this ball along with all the other Ebonite International balls when they came to detroit in january. The Magic is an amazing piece of machinery. Pin is high about 4 1/2 by 4 with MB just right of thumb. this ball is not for dry lanes!!!!! this ball needs some head oil or you wont be able to keep it right of the head pin. i can play all different parts of the lane and i never got a bad look. Only had to worry about the corners if i got deep and pulled it a little.

I know you like this ball regardless of what style you play, just don't let you ego get in the way, put the ball away once the heads are toast!!!

I drilled my Magic with the Pin 5" from my PAP and 3.5" from VAL, MB at 75 degrees.  This ball is suprisingly clean through the heads with an aggressive, continuous backed motion on the THS.  It is about 6-8 boards stronger than my One Pearl.

I put the pin 4 3/4 from my positive access point and the mass bias 3 1/2 from my thumb hole and a weight hole 2 1/4 left of my positive access point (i am left handed.)
this ball is awsome i don't right many reviews on this site but i do work in the a proshop that i have basically drilled just about everything up i have roughly 21 bowling balls and this one is right to the top.
i am going to say this and state my reputation on this ball. this is THE BALL that is going to Bring the trust back to ebonite. i am fortunate enough to have gotten this ball and i love it. this ball screams longevity. it doesn't soak up oil it cuts through it. it is a really sharp backend ball even though it comes out of the box dull. it also reads the midlane great. i can throw this ball on a lane for 5 games without the lanes changing a ton. and i have a 420 rev rate. i have thrown 8 games on this ball so far and i average 214 with it and a high game of 259. you will be happy with this ball from ebonite even though in the past their product has been less than quality.

Sarge Easter w/IT thumb grips. 15lbs. with a 3 inch pin. Drilled the ball with the pin above ring finger and mb 2.5 inches right. Ended up 4.5 x 4. Sanded to 2000 abralon to get a good comparison to my NVD. This ball starts its roll at 40' and makes a very strong move to the pocket. Gives me the same look on oil as my NVS does in the drier stuff. Very consistent ball with no under/over to be seen so far. Thanks to Monty Stratton at Bowlers Depot Oceanside.

Layout is 4.5" from pap and 70 degree mb oob finish, 41' THP on newer Pro lanes

This ball is for any medium rev, medium speed that wants to move inside and still get the ball back with great carry. On a fresh condition this ball has more room than a lane machine to the pocket and just keeps on giving. Clean through the heads and just gets through the mid lane when it makes a nice angular move to the pocket. If you loved the Pearl One then add 5 more boards hook to it and more angle, great ball to start with but if you can't change your release half way through the night just put it away as it won't quit hooking.

Great job Ebonite!

This ball absolutly puzzles me in how a ball that is this strong and hooks up so well in oil but yet stores as much energy to have the backend move that is has. This ball is great I will definatly continue buying ebonite because of the qualitly and power that they are accomplishing in there product. by the way my magic is drilled pin above bridge and mb kicked out to the right of the thumb by about a half inch. Also I am a high rev player about 475 revs.

Specs: 15lbs
Drilled: Pin 1 3/4 inches over bridge, MB 1 inch right of vertical center line
Surface: box

New from Ebonite Int. is the Magic. This is a modified Complete NV core with the new Flexol Reactive cover.

Out of box it comes 4000 Abralon. This is a very good surface to keep it at as well. I tested between 1000-4000 Abralon and also polished it on 4000. The box finish of 4000 is by far the best surface for med-heavy condition.

1000 Abralon for the Magic is very strong and great for heavy volumes. 4000 polished works well if the lanes are hooking but you still want something with a smoother/more controlled reaction.

This ball is definitely for fans of the Complete NV and Gamebreaker. Its got the turn and overall Complete Nv type reaction but, has the smooth transition of the Gamebreaker.

Loving This BALL!!

Drilled Rico (modified up a half inch from center of grip to keep flare down)

Threw Snake Oil on it for house shot and the polish didn't make it flip just gave it better read throu the heads and it is so smooth and predictable on the other end leaving no pins behind, I have tripped numerous 4's with this it has great carry. Can't wait to get my hands on a magic action so i can take the polish off this and add it to my arsenal!

This ball is simply Awesome. I was a little tentative at first knowing the hook rating. I had it drilled in Dallas. When I started bowling with it I was overwhelmed. The ball had a very high rev rate. When I adjusted to the angle, and it's breaking point. I bowled my first ever 288. I had 10 in a row when I pulled the ball slightly and left the 6,10 on my 11th ball. I'm looking forward to my first 300 with this ball. I know it is coming. This ball does everything. I just had someone give me a Ebonite Big time ball which compliments the Magic. The Big Time ball is great for extra length when the lanes are drying out. If you haven't tried the Magic it is a must. You won't regret it. My average went up 30 pins. It's simply Magic.

I haven't got the chance too use it much, because I can't seem to put my Rogue Cell down. I practiced with the Magic the other day and shot pretty well with it. I bowled four games with it and shot 245,242,247, & 279. The lanes were oiled up a fresh med THS. The Magic is very clean through the heads and just gets through the mid lane when it makes a nice angular move to the pocket. I was very impressed with the Magic and the reaction I got with the ball. My Magic is drilled pretty tame with pin just to the right of ring, cg kicked a bit to right, and mb 1" right of thumb. Ball is at 4000 with a bit of Snake oil. Good job Ebonite!!!
