Just drilled this one up, review is with 6 games on it. I drilled this ball with pin above ring finger and MB about 3 inches to the right.Ball gets great length, however if you get it out too soon on THS, this ball will jump. It does read the mid-lane well as long as you hit your spots. I was expecting a huge snap with this ball and what I found was that it was very controllable. It will come back a long way but it won't "jump". Ball keeps pins low for a lot of pin action.
I currently average 235 and i've bowled 2 sets with this ball.
762 and 735 with a 290.
I will update once I get more games on it, but It really looks like a great ball for any arsenal. Just beware of dry lanes. Like i said, if it hits any dry, its gone.

So far this one has beat out 2 other very top line balls in my bag and I don't see giving them much more chance after another performance tonight.

I drilled mine up 4 1/2 pin with a 75 degree mb and this kept my cg within an inch and even though it was 3/4 ps I didn't go with a balance hole.

Medium house condition on Pro lanes at 41'

I have not moved in 2 weeks with this ball as it just gets through the heads and mid lane so easy with a nice arc on the back once your lined up your set. I started with the Cell Pearl tonight and chased the shot for a game and a half and then went right back to the Pearl One and just could not miss. I have no idea what they did with this but it is going to be the first one out of my bag each and every night now. I have had mine for about 3 weeks and have not shot under 700 with it, I am really thinking of selling several of my other balls and drilling up 3 more of these with different layouts as it is that good.

I RECEIVED THIS BALL COMPLIMENTS OF DAMON AT EBONITE, I MUST SAY I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS BALL SO FAR. THE BALL WAS DRILLED WITH THE PIN ABOVE THE FINGERS AND THE MASS BIAS TO THE RIGHT OF THE THUMB WITH A WEIGHT HOLE ON MY PAP, THIS BALL CLEARS THE FRONT PART OF THE LANES AND HAVE A VERY STRONG AND CONTINUOUS  MOVE IN THE BACKEND,I HAVE NOT SHOT UNDER 717 WITH IT, THE BALL IS SO Predictable AND DOESN'T DO ANYTHING CRAZY OFF The SPOT, FOR A HOUSE OR LEAGUE BOWLER THIS BALL IS A NO BRAINER, GO OUT AND PICK ONE UP FROM THE LOCAL YOUR LOCAL PRO SHOP. AND REMEMBER BOWL TO WIN, VISIT MY WEBSITE AT www.primetimeproshop.com.

i got this gem on 1/31 by a recomendation from my pro shop. i am so glad i took his advice. this ball is money for me.  i had i drilled with the recomended #2 layout (pin over ring, mass bias 1 inch to the right of the thumb, no balance hole. 16#.  this ball comes back with a vengence. to me it acts like  more of a  roll/flip type re-action.  but when it flips it flips hard, with a continuous roll though the pins. i used this on both of my leagues, and a few tournaments, and it re-acts excellent. it will jump severly off of the dry, so you have to watch your speed. or if its too dry you may have to put it away. this is an excellent release from ebonite, if your looking for back end, look no further, this is "the one" to get. its been the the only ball out of my arsenal that im using  because it flat out works the best! 9 out of 10 in my book.

I have had the one pearl for a month now and the pin is above the fingers and to the right..i would have to say that it is a condition ball for me. I am a high rev power player and since i loved THE ONE so much i thought i would like the pearl even more. For me most of the time it is over under, it hooks really hard when it hits dry but when it gets in the oil it just slides. i have found that it works much better on tougher sport patterns then a regular house shot...overall i would give it a 7/10 right now.

Sarge Easter w/IT grips. 15lbs. with a 4 inch pin. Drilled 6 x 4 which placed the pin left of my middle finger. Ball was drilled to get down lane and turn. It actually reads close to my Pin Slasher and makes a stronger turn on the backend. Hit awesome and makes a great one two punch. Shot 227 222 with the PS and 245 the last game with the OP. Thanks to Monty Stratton at Bowlers Depot Oceanside.

Update:
Just shot 300 last night with this ball. Standing on 30, hit around 19 at the arrows out to 7-8 at the breakpoint. Ball wasnt too skip flippy, more of a strong arc in a short amount of time

Ball: The One Pearl
Weight: 15lbs
Finish: Box finish 4000 polished with Factory Finish

Well I just thought I would give you some feedback on the one pearls that I got. I drilled the first one with pin above the bridge and the cg kicked out under the ring finger (on the midline). This ball is probly the cleanest ball through the front part of the lane that I have owned in a long time. The ball has a huge back end, very hard off the dry. It seems to work on a wide variety of house shots (have not thrown it on any sport or pba conditions as of yet).

I drilled up my second one with the pin below the ring finger and the cg kicked out just past the ring finger (cg just below the midline). The second one starts up about 5-6 ft earlier then my first one. The backend reaction is a strong arcing motion. This ball as well works on a wide variety of house shots, and is a nice compliment when the first one pearl is starting up to late.

I think to date this is my favorite ball I have thrown. I can not put these balls down. Previously my favorite ball of all time was the V 2/Game breaker. Between those two balls I had 8-9 of them. I just could not beat the reaction until now.

I am more of a tweener then a stroker but sometimes it just depends on the condition.

My average RPM's is 325-350.

If u have any questions, or suggestions about my reviews I can change or add to let me know

Ball specs:
1)2.5" pin
2)3oz tw
3)15 lbs
4)OOB
Bowler Specs:
1)Rev dominant tweener
2)High tracker
3)15-16 mph
4)righty

This is just a quick review after about 5 games on a THS. the layout is similar to the reccommended #1 w/ a weighthole 1 1/2"^ from PAP. This piece definitely goes long gliding through the heads, moderately reads the mids, but makes a hockey stick move off the dry boards. The One complies very well to different hand releases, but this ball MUST see the strongest area of friction or it will continue to glide. This is just an initial impression after 5 games and will see how well the cover takes to adjustments.

Specs: 15lbs
Drilled: Pin 1 3/4 inches over bridge, MB 2 inches right of vertical center line
Surface: box

Some people forget that the One Pearl is basically a high performance ball. Just about a year a half ago it was Ebonite's high end design.

Saying that... it rolls exactly like that. It's got more angle off the dry than anything I've seen. I had an ANGULAR One when they were released and it couldnt touch this thing. Very dynamic off the break point.

You may need a little friction to get it of the corner tho(seeing that it is a pearl). But, for being a strong pearl it doesnt get much better. When dulled (tested at 1000-4000 abralon) it smoothes out and becomes very arcie but still very good entry angle.

The price point is amazing too. It costs the same as some mid line balls and it's high end. If this isnt the best buy on the market than I dont know what is.

The Onr Pearl is the 3rd of the four balls I recently got punched up and after not throwing ebonite gear since the One first came out (not the remake One) I must say I have been missing out on some great bowling equipment.

The One Pearl is indeed a strong pearl with a backend reaction to match that excels on carry down conditions and is a great benchmark/1st out of the bag ball. My One Pearl offers me great length with its OOB finish as well as a sharp angular backend reaction. I enjoy using mine on carry down conditions and when the lanes provide alot of hook, The One Pearl gives me the reaction I'm looking for.

Great ball.
Decent colors.
Very Strong.

One of the best balls I have ever thrown.  Pin above ring finger (right hand), CG right and MB 3" right of thumb.  Got it so it could go clean through the heads and strong enough to snap in the backend.  It does exactly that!!!  It tears up a house pattern but doesn't hook on oily synthetics.  On the Viper oil pattern it is the BEST choice.  Played right away 2nd arrow and anywhere right of the 2nd arrow will come back....HARD!  Definatly need this ball in your bag.
