Magic Touch:
This ball reminds me of the Ebonite Raid. The motion it has a very similar to me. Its clean through the front and loopie in the back. Its very controlled and not overly aggressive off the corner. Now saying that, it still has a good amount of hook.

I drilled the Magic Touch pin over middle finger (4 1/2). The MB is in an angular location (1 1/2 inches right of the grip line).

Box Finish (4000 polished): This ball got really far down lane and has that Ebonite angularity. It pushed a little too far for my liking so I hit it with a 4000 pad.

4000 Abralon Finish: Now the M.T. is much, much better. It reads a little quicker and the move to the hole is more dynamic. It still gets further down the lane than the Magic. The overall hook is about the same just a little longer and better entry angle.

The Magic Touch at box finish rolled great on Dick Weber Open playing around the ditch. The M.T. at 4000 rolled really good on 09 Scorpion playing the middle of the pattern. (both shots were in my Wed. Night PBA Exp league)

Drilled the magic touch with the pin directly over the middle finger and the mass bias just to the right of the thumb. I have thrown this ball box finish, It was clean through the heads and hard off the dry. Has a strong roll to it. Took it down to 500 and brought it back up to 2000 abalone. This smoothed out the reaction off the dry but still strong overall. Having a few problems with this ball rolling out at 2000, so I will probly take it to 4G and try it there next.

My Magic Touch came with a 3 1/2 in pin and 3 ounce top weight.  I laid it out with the pin 4 1/2" from my axis and MB at 55 degrees.  This put the pin up and to the right of my ring finger about an 1 1/2" and the MB about 2 1/2" from my thumb in the strong position.  I had a Cell Pearl with this layout that I had success with and now that its gone and I'm throwing Ebonite, I wanted to try to reproduce that same reaction.  So far I am not disappointed.  The Magic Touch for me gets through the heads very nice and picks up in the mids with a fairly strong roll for a pearl ball and then has a pretty strong and continous move off the spot and drives through the pins nicely.  If I got in with it, it would slide a little longer and have a good snap of the pattern but then if I got it right a little, it wouldn't jump off the spot but would read and roll giving me a pretty good comfort zone.

The right lane was fresh but the left lane had open play on it and it was easy to see that this cover was not made for carrydown.  I was a good 7 boards right with my feet and eyes and barely getting it to move, but that was expected.  I see being able to use this ball all 3 games in league and just working around the carrydown until some point that the carry goes away when the ball has nothing left, but I'm thinking the new Evolve will take care of my carrydown problems.

I think this is a good addition to the Magic Line but this ball is going to have some competition with the New Lane Breaker.

The Magic Touch is just that,Magic. Drilled mine with a 3 inch pin placement.
I also placed the pin down. My ball speed is low and wanted more control.
Glad I did, was way too much for our State tourney.
Took the shine off, tried it on the 36' Kegel pattern.
Good length , excellent recovery. The guys in the scratch league were calling it
The Magic move.

I love this ball! I drilled mine 4x4 and took the box surface down to 2000. I am not a very high rev rate player and this gave me the extra pop I needed in back. The ball gets down the lane a little further than it's counterpart the Magic, and is strong off the spot. I fully expect to see this ball on T.V. during the World Series of Bowling, it's that good! I had a chance to watch Jason Couch throw his and all I can say is WOW!

Rt. Hand Drilling - Pin above middle and ring finger with CG kicked to the right. The MB is about 1 1/2 inches from the thumb hole.  No extra hole needed.

The Magic Touch is a great ball that provides good length and an outstanding back end reaction.  I have used this ball on many THS and tournament conditions and have had a great reaction.  

It is very clean through the heads and gives good length.  Once it makes the turn - it leaves nothing behind!

If you are looking for a ball that starts grabbing the lane sooner and still gives the arcing continuation to the pins - I recommend the Magic Action.  Both the Magic Touch and the Magic Action should be a part of every bowler's arsenal.
