I am a Dynothane guy myself...but tried this ball at a demo day...and this  is definitey a keeper.. The ball is extremely clean down the lane...and recovers smoothly with good power.. I was quite surprised that it managed to contiue after the house shot had been demo bowled all day!!!

One of my favorite balls of all time by Ebonite was there Black and Silver Matrix so I was very excited to hear that they were putting that shell around the popular V2 weight block.  I just got the ball, drilled it up last night.  Bowled on a pretty scorched condition, I think they run the lanes once a week at this house in the summer.  Was able to move inside the track area and open up the lane.  Ball rolled very smooth with a strong move not flip on the back.  Drilled this ball with a 12:00 leverage drill, no weight hole.  I do think a medium amount of oil will be needed for this balls best performance.  Looking forward to throwing it on a fresh condition.

This ball can straight out move.  Got my V2 sweet drilled up 2 days ago.  V2 sweet pin up and right of ring, cg stacked below and MB in strong flip.

Pattern 1-a reverse block shot as 7 to the gutter was OB and insides especially 17 and left were extremely dry.  The v2 sweet, i was standing 30 and rolling it 17-18 to about 10 and letting it fire back high flush.

Pattern 2-THS with flying backends but some oil in the mids from 17-20.  I couldn't really find a liine with the v2 sweet.  The lanes were so spotty from open bowlers all week it was ridiculous.

I bowl on a crown shot tomorrow for leagues, oiled to 38 and buffed to 42 i believe and will update this tomorrow evening.  Will also update when i get more games on the ball as well.

UPDATE:  Here is the update as promised.  Getting used to the ball still but overall I think it is an amazing ball.  It's actually pretty strong.  I was standing 29 throwing it out to about 10 and it was coming back to the pocket and ripping the rack.  I sent it out to about 2-3 and the ball actually had enough to get back to the pocket mixed the pins around but left the 7-10.  This ball throws the pins around, keeps them extremely low and close to the deck.  Great looking ball, great looking reaction, and looks great in my arsenal.  Is ideal for medium conditions.

Added this one to go along with my Clean and Strong. Does just what it's supposed to. Bigger hook than the Clean, same excellent carry. Thankfully, a good blend of colours. Quite nice to look at. Was worried I was going to get an ugly one.

I laid this ball out the same as my Awesome Impact.  I put the Pin and CG 4 1/2 inches from my PAP.  I put the pin 2 inches off my grip line and the CG was in the thumb quadrant.  I buried my thumb hole to get out the excess thumb weight.

I always say don't have expectations when drilling a bowling ball or you will be disappointed.  I was expecting the V2 Pearl relived.  This is not the same ball for me.

The V2 Sweet had more length than my original V2 Pearl, but had the very familiar roll pattern of the other V2's with the same core.  I found the V2 Sweet to have a very similiar reaction to the Awesome Impact, but the V2 Sweet made a smoother arcing motion to the pocket.

On our higher volume house shot, I was able to play the oil line and bounce the ball off the dry for the first game shooting 260 with the ball.  After the lanes started to dry up, I made the change to a different ball.

If you like the V2 series, you can not go wrong with this ball.  You have have the familiar roll pattern of the V2 line with more length than the V2 Sanded or Strong.

I've mine when visited the demo day in Asia last two weeks.  Pin 4 1/2 from PAP under ring finger.  CG slightly on the right.  Balance hole approx 1 to 1 1/2 below PAP.  Side weight 5/8oz.

It's a great ball.  I was play from 10 to 3 on house shot (32-35 feet with 5 is out of bound area).  It's made very smooth turn at the breakpoint and dive for the pocket.  Very controllable and easy to adjust.  So far have not experienced over/under.  I'm getting split when it hit high but that might be because of me.

I think it's start to glow on me.

I love this ball,I have three of them now.I have one with the pin over the bridge, one under the ring finger, and one right of the ring finger.I think these balls work great on a variety of patterns. They look cool too!

ok not a big drilling guy, ill have a go. pin above ring finger, CG kicked out and a weight hole about 3 3/8in 95° away from my thumb hole

this ball was drilled for EXTRA length and that what it does. sits out there, then a very sharp turn, love this ball. the color is also very nice. have a tournament this weekend can wait to use it!
