i have used this ball on a few conditions now and here is my take. one on 38ft and 44ft.
mine is drilled to go long and move very hard and continuous on the back. my pin is about 1.5 inches above the finger, with the cg on the midline under the ring finger. the reason i chose this layout was to make sure it got through the heads. the surface of the ball is very versatile, i have tried it both out of the box and with a light polish on it. with my game i think feel too much polish will give me over under.
this ball in comparison to the regular V2 Sanded... no comparison in reaction. but i see the same in both balls in the front part of the lane. its very smooth, but the difference on the back end is night and day. once this V2 hits the breakpoint , just watch out. it changes directions very hard. now its more of my layout that causes that reaction. i will get the desired reaction by changing the surface on the ball.
if u do not have that go long snap hard reaction in your bag, this is the ball for you.

I like this ball very much. Very smooth, controlled back end with more continuation that previous V2’s. Coverstock appears to be quite versatile. Reminds me of a “Next Generation†V2 Sanded.

This ball is just awesome. Out of the box it is dull and works great on oil conditions. This ball has a ton of power and will be a huge success. Haven't tried it polished yet but will soon.

same with the previous reviews mine reminds me a lot of the V2 sanded. my v2 sanded got through the heads well with a very controllable back end. if i want to play fall abck i can get around it more or if i wanna go up the track on a sport pattern it reads well and doesn't get me in trouble. I really think this ball is a good go to when the lanes are dirty.

This ball was drilled:
PAP-Pin 3 1/2"
PAP-MB 4"
Pin 1" above midplane with 31/32 hole on PAP
This is a really interesting bowling ball. The RG is so low that it simply refuses to change direction sharply no matter how hard you beach it. This is highly versatile for me playing up the boards with a smoother surface or going around the lane with a bit more scuff. Balls that roll as much as this does tend to not recover on the backend as much as others, so they don't get alot of attention. If you struggle with wet/dry and need a piece that isn't overly aggressive but allows you to play the friction, absolutely try this one.
It reminds me of the Total Annhilation or Ultimate Inferno in the smooth motion, with a bit easier front than either ball.

Purchased this ball just before league tonight. Was able to roll three practice balls during warm-ups. First game 235, next game 245, third game had to put it in the bag because it was hooking too hard. Great ball, great hook in the oil. The ball just keeps hooking through the deck. Pins flying all over when it hits. This is for sure the first ball out of the bag for me.
Ball drilled stacked label. Nice hard arcing motion. Thought it might be too strong for my style, but I was wrong. The ball hits like a tank and never stops hooking. So far, it is the best ball I've thrown in quite some time. Puts everything I currently own to shame as far as hook. Was able to play inside just a litte as well as outside. Great ball for the money

My reccomendation: polish this ball up, it performs much better
i got this ball a year and a half ago, and it is still a part of my starting equipment. i got it drilled pin up above the ring finger. this ball goes smooth down the lane and is very controllable. flat ten-pins are a bit of a problem with this ball, but a simple wrist adjustment can fix that. my friend polished this ball up for me one day, and carry greatly improved. however, light hits could leave splits pretty easily, but not very often.
