The Signals has a real strong downlane reaction.  One of the cleanest balls I've ever thrown. Gets through the heads super easy and has quite a bit of backend reaction.  A very angular piece of equipment.

Definitely a ball for someone needing a long and very strong downlane reaction.  The coverstock is very versatile as well, is even stronger when dulled at 3000 Abralon.

Drilled 5x5 - Surface Box

I have used this ball quite a bit in league for a couple weeks.  The bowling center has high traffic throughout the day with kids and recreational bowlers.  By the time we get on the lanes we see quite a bit of carry down. Since drilling this ball I have not been faced with the carry down like other players.  This ball stores a ton of energy and makes a really nice move down lane.  I have been able to stay right of most players as well since the ball saves so much energy.

I have drilled another with a stronger pin with dry 2000.  This ball gives me similar reaction on fresh oil.  It starts a few feet sooner and hooks a couple boards more than the weaker pin.

This ball is really, REALLY, good...

I cant wait to use it more!!!

Likes:Signals has a versatile cover that responds well to friction. I've used this from box condition to 1000 grit abralon with no polish on the 41ft heavy volume condition. Signals cleared the fronts nicely and maintained an strong angular motion at the breakpoint. The layout is 45 x 4 x 35 with a balance hole an inch below the grip midline(just below p2 gradient) Signals should be a good first ball out of the bag for this season.

The Signal is very clean through the heads and gets down the lane.  With  the box finish, this ball tends to go long for me, but has a great back  end reaction.  It has a more skid/flip reaction that my other equipment  does and when it turns over....it MOVES!!

I have been using this ball predominately during league play as the mid  part of the lanes are aggressive.  I can depend upon this ball to get  through the heads, yet still have a great reaction on the back end.   This ball gives me confidence to move deeper on the lane as I know it  will finish strong!!

Likes: This is a very smooth but angular ball. it gets through the heads but has very good angle on the backends. I usually sont throw polished pieces well, but this ball has turned into my go to ball. if your looking for something that is very clean and something that gets down the lane, but has a very good angle on the backends, this is your piece!

LANE CONDITION

Length: Medium

Volume:  Good to start quickly goes....somewhere?  OB.

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):  THS.

Signals?  Almost never heard of this ball or saw anyone use it!  Walked in to my proshop and he had this ball drilled different and for sale on consinement, Pin up and closer to PAP...say 4 1/4 and with the Mass Bias stacked.  Also a weigthole near my PAP and say 7/8 X 3 deep.  I was sure this ball would be too strong on my harsh wet dry house shot.

Now I have the Vital Sign with the same core.  Always in my setups of this ball(twice drilled)I had the mass bias stronger than the pin.  Very strong but never could get it to match up really anywhere.

Surprisingly this pearly ball worked well right from the start when I bowled without anywhere close to a fit.  After proper grip adjustment I came in and followed up a young kids expedition day.  Immediately I just missed a 10 bagger by having pins run in to each other while chasing the 10 pin on a light hit.

As usual the shot started to change quickly after the first game.  Yet this gem had no problem carrying from deeper!  I don't know why this ball has so much of a better shape for me than the Vital sign whether the drilling or the different coverstock.

Again the drilling does not have any kick out of the mass bias and the coverstock appears to be pearlier with a light touch of mica!

This ball never was seen much or had much acclaim but I think it is a secret winner!

Regards,

Luckylefty
