Overall
I got this ball from my dad for my 300 I shot in Jan. Drilled the ball with the pin diagonal from the ring finger and cg under the middle finger, No weight hole nessary. Sanded with Ebonite Sand Blast (Very messey stuff). Finaly got to through it on a couple of Sport shots and it responded very well.

Sport Shot 30 ft and buffed 35ft
I started with a straight wrist and normal grip pressure. Went out to the 3 board seeing if there was a shot out there. This shot was not very effective becuase I had to direct it right down 3 and on the backend there was so much angle it was leaving me greek churches and big fours. So I moved to 8 board still same result so I changed my grip pressure and it walked to the pocket. I later moved to 15 and throw to 8 same thing it walked right in the pocket. Very smooth ball.

Hits nice
Very effective on sport shots
Have only shot 2 series under 700 with it.

For a couple months this ball was collecting dust. After some frustrating sets with my other equipment, I decided to use only this ball until I learned to bowl again. After I applied some shine, it was incredible! Definitely Ebonite's sleeper ball of the year. The ball is extremely smooth and rolls hard on the backend, the carry is way above average. Dull, it didnt quite finish enuff and the hit was pretty bad. The polish made the biggest difference. This ball is versatile, given theres a bit of oil in the fronts, and unlike most particles, its got no problem wheeling coast to coast. Rolls like a smooth reactive, with reactive HIT. May 3rd, 268-300-258/826. Well, I still cant bowl but my scores are much better. What a difference a ball makes. Too bad Ebonite is doing away with this gem this summer, hopefully they'll have a suitable replacement!

I started with a straight wrist medium grip pressure and playing the twenty board out to 14. This shot worked well when I kept a tight line but I would leave some corners if I missed a little right or left. Moved over to the fifteen board rolling it out to the ten board, same grip, speed, and wrist. This shot tended to have a better carring percentage than the fourth arrow shot, however still really touchy about were it was being placed in the pocket. I later moved to eight board swinging to four with all the same specs. Tended to over act so I took some grip pressure off and it walked into the pocket all day. Much better carring percentage there. First arrow there was no success.

PROS
Less hook, very smooth

CONS
Couldn't play as deep as I thought I could with this ball.

This ball is drilled with a 4 ½ “ pin and the CG 5” from my axis. For me, this ball works well on the fresher PBA conditions when I have to go straighter through the front and need a controlled reaction on the backend. Does not overreact in the backend because of the weight block. A very nice ball to keep you in play on a fresh condition. Excellent addition to the Low Flare family.

Drill pattern: 4.25" pin to pap- upper left edge of ring finger
cg 3/8 positive shift from grip center. (slightly modified label or ~105 degree)

 This ball has suprised me in that I do not like to put it down when using it this year. I had been using it on a "THS" oiled 7-7 40ft pattern volume is very heavy in middle with edges being quite bare on older wood. I was looking for something to roll a little later than my V2 sanded drilled 4X4 but not giving me over/under. Well this ball has been the ticket and it has displaced my V2 as first ball out of the bag. I have used it with a multitude of surfaces and for me a slight hit of black Magic has been best for carry.  

This ball does not have any suprises in it. It can handle med-dry through fairly heavy with the right surface adjustment. It does not like to be pushed away from the pocket for me as the lower flare core doesn't give it the kick back for corners. Heavier handed bowlers should be able to use this ball anywhere they want with the right set-up. Straighter bowlers should love the ablility to square up and receive less/under than most of todays new balls. Excellent tournament piece for control. For under $90 drilled this piece has been a bargain and a pleasure. If your looking for a good cheap control piece that has versatility I would not pass by this ball. I think I will pick up another on ebay. (cheaper than through distrib)

Lemme tell you what this ball is a hella of lot more aggresive than they say it is.  This ball has a backend like some of my high end stuff.  Its not for the thick stuff but when there breakin down a little to much to throw real aggresive equipment, Drilled stack or label levrage this ball is pretty impresive. Cuts the corner real well if you have some hand. Hits pretty Good too.  If your planning on throwing this in oil think again. You will Leave a lot of flat....flat tens.

I got this ball at my local pro shop for $40 dollars after trading in my old Power Groove, and lemme tell you what, this ball is worth every penny I paid for it. I got this ball as a new ball entering into my first year of high school bowling and my average has gone up 32 pins from bowling in my old friday league. Comes smooth to the headpin and leaves none standing, Highly recommended.

My go to ball when things are going south with the new, high power balls. I have 8 300's, 3 800's with this ball. I shot 203,300,297,300 with it one night. I threw 1 with it a month ago. The ball has never been resurfaced or had the oil sucked out of it. Only dropped in the ball polisher every now and then to give it that nice shinney look. I have had this ball for over 5 years now. It even looks like it has been thrown down the street. Been offered a nice price for it. But it showes me to much love. Soon it will be place on a shelf with all the honor scores and dates. Thats if I can find a ball that is a versatile as this one.
