Which ball would play better on a broken down shot?

Most people didn't like it, but I think the V2 Sweet, polished, is the better ball. JMO

I liked the Sweet better than the clean too...

...but depending on how broken down of a shot you are talking about you could also look into either the Ice or Black Ice.  Both have the coverstock from the V2 (obviously one is a pearl) but with a weaker core (taken from the Stinger low flare).  I've seen some very impressive things from the Ice and I'm sure the Black Ice will be just as good and offer a little more control over the Ice on dry.

Not knocking the Ice, but I don't have them sitting in the garage waiting to drill

I do have a Clean waiting to be plugged and re-drilled, and NIB Sweet (X-out with 5-6" pin).

My team mate has a V2 Sweet and I like the reaction - I'm just not sure how well the 5-6" pin is going to be for me.

I did read the pro-pin drillings here http://www.bowlingball.com/info/layout_drilling.php, and drilling #1 seems like it might work for me - I do tend to track very high.

I had a pro pin Razor Wire. I was a good ball, I also track high. The weight hole was just a biggie. It wasn't as deep as maybe I should have gone, making the diameter a bit smaller, but it was my first and I was learning weight holes.

Depending on exactly what you expect from it, I think it'll work for you.

I've seen both the balls thrown and here's what I've noticed. The Sweet seemed to read the lanes earlier and had a very strong arcing backend. The Clean got through the heads and mids much easier and had a stronger arc not really a snap but not far off. The two balls weren't drilled similarly though. Believe the Sweet was stacked leverage. lol. And the Clean was weaker I suppose. Wow, that really helped you! lol.
