Actually, your approach is fine. i wouldn't say the wiggling of the hips is a problem at all.
If you look closely( not that closely of course) at his backswing and backside, and his hips going left and right. he is close to his leg, when he drops it. this is when his hips first go left to clean the arm swing. at the top of the swing his hips are going to the right but it keeps his arm straight behind him. when he starts to come back down again his hips move left and his armswing comes straight back down under his shoulder.
this is text book, with someone smaller the ball might pull them all over the place but with his larger stature, it doesn't.
he looks A 1 to me. repeatable mechanics, effortless release.
