lanebreaker with 6" pin
« on: October 26, 2009, 05:16:05 PM »
i have had trouble with hook stop with my lanebreakers. i recently plugged one and redrilled with a 6"pin under my fingers and 45 degrees with the cg. this is now a benchmark ball. i cannot describe how great the reaction is. lengthy and very very clean. dont be scared to try this drill if you are having the same problem i did or just too much overall hook

I don't have a hook stop issue but I did drill a LB 6" by 45* and it saved my bacon a few times on a 40' flat shot last weekend. Very easy length on toasty heads and it gave me a backend reaction that none of the field could duplicate.

I have used it after a few games in league to very good results, a little speed sensitive due to the long pin distance.

Would love to see this core in one of the Flexol covers....
