Showtime's vs Savage's
« on: October 29, 2004, 07:54:57 PM »
Is there any difference between the Showtime Solid and Savage Solid... and Showtime Pearl and Savage Pearl? I know they've got the same core, etc...

How much ball is the Showtime Pearl than the V2 Pearl?

And what is the best condition for the Showtime Pearl? And what kind of reaction can a person expect from it as far as length, midlane and backend?

I can't give a complete answer to your questions from memory, but the entire savage series has a stronger core than the show time series.  I know that the cores have the same shape; however, the savages have a significantly higher differential.  You will see the same shape core in the jungle green too, and I beleive it is a savage core.  It seems to me that the rg is 2.50 and the diff is 0.055.  And I think, could be wrong here, but it seems to me that the Storm X-factor is using the same 2.50 and 0.55, although that core is a different construction also.  I don't recall the V2 specs.

One of my friends has had the Savage Sanded since it came out, and he still uses it regularly.

hope this helps.

So what is the best condition for the Showetime Pearl? And which is stronger, the Showetime Pearl or the Savage Pearl?
