figured out how to duplicate this reaction I was getting one strike after another. My Xxcel is drilled pin above and slightly right of ring, cg directly below, and mb just below and right of thumb with x-hole.
I've heard about balls with a very sudden curve, and I've heard about skid snap, but not until last night have I seen a ball do both on the same throw. I'd been struggling with the Xxcel. It always seemed to leave one or two pins even though I was consistently hitting the pocket. Finally, I let the ball go out a little more standing 4th dot (not sure how many boards), and rolling it out over second arrow. The ball would go down for a bit then take a sudden but very mild curve. Then just when I know it's not going to be enough, it snaps right into the pocket less than a second before it hits the pins. Granted I am an amature bowler, but this is something I've never seen before. Once I figured out how to duplicate this reaction I was getting one strike after another. Has anyone else seen or experienced this?
