Likewise, I heard about this last week.  I also heard Paul Enright would be taking over the position.

I'm not privy to details, but suffice it to say that Ebonite had their reasons for doing this.

Dave is super nice guy he lived and breathed Ebonite through his veins, he always took care of me when i had any issues with cracked equipment personally for me. I liked him alot as the Ebonite rep and know he will land on his feet soon enough, too smart and nice of guy not too.

Paul Enright is rumored to be the new rep and is a super nice guy himself, Dave brought in Paul himself as the demo day guy they are still good friends. I do not know anything else because that is personal stuff between Dave and Ebonite, just give Paulie a fair shot and he will not let you down.

A thought just came to mind, what if Dave was going to Columbia or Track or Dyno? Maybe ? who knows. Might just be a position change.

Ohh is there so much I would love to say in reguards to Barry and everyone else... But I am going to do the right thing and stay out of this war!

But what I can say is that Dave is no longer with Ebonite period. That would probably include Columbia/Track/Dyno-Thane, etc.....
