Title: Abralon Pad Question
Post by: jodyk24 on June 29, 2006, 02:55:54 AM
What seems to be the life of the Abralon pads before they wear out? I used the pads for the first time a couple of days ago and really liked the results from the different grits of 1000 and 2000. The used pads still seem to have a lot of grit after using the pad on three balls. Sandpaper and scotch pads seem to wear down quick after doing a couple of balls. The  Abralon pads don't scratch up the ball so It is a different read on the wear that is for sure. Just curious  if anyone that has used the Abralon pads for quite a while has some imput.
thanks,

abralon pads when kept clean will outlast both sandpaper and scotchbrite pads by quite a bit. Just make sure to vacuum the particles out of the abralon pad when your done using them..

A number can't be put on the life of the Pads as it will vary from person to person, depending how long they use the Pad on each ball, the pressure used, if and how much water used and etc.
