I guess this is my lucky night.. I was getting prepared to bowl my usual sunday night league when one of my friends came up to me and handed me a rico drilled vortex II..  I was amazed that he just gave it to me for nothing.. Some guy was giving away bowling balls for nothing and happen to run into him and he gave him  the vortex and 2 other balls...My buddy got a slash and his other friend got a crossfire... I am fortunate to get this because I really wanted to try a ball drilled rico.  I was wondering what should I expect out of this ball drilled rico?

 The span is perfect which is 4 3/8 but the thumb is way to big because I think he used a thumb slug.. Hopefully ill slug it up tomorrow.   I am a cranker with med-high revs dont know exact and pretty decent speed

Out of the box, the V2 is a very smooth rolling early hooking ball.  I wouldn't have personally drilled it rico b/c its already smooth by nature.  Expect to throw some shine on it if you want it get down the lane.  I drilled mine 5" pin up and I still had to shine it to keep it from burning up

This is THE former benchmark ball for Ebonite! When this ball came out, everyone had one, and could score with it on a variety of surfaces conditions.

This ball is extremely smooth, and controllable. A great ball to have and an absolute gem.

I just received two of them, in similar fashion. One was given to me by a teammate who tired of it, and the other one I found on the rack at one of my centers, where I bowl.

Sweet.. I was amazed too and for this ball to have the same span and just needed a thumb slug and a good cleaning, what more could u ask for... Now if I can only find me a old urethane blue hammer.
