I have been using that now for about a month and I have to say it probably the best ball I have ever thrown...of course that my opinion!!!

Big One - sanded down to about 1000/800
Infinite One.

Don't forget to have a knowledgeable driller look at your shot
before drilling.  Makes a word of difference.

If you're looking for something for truly heavy oil patterns, the Infinite One and SmashTime are the best places to look.

The Infinite One comes 500 Abralon sanded in a very aggressive coverstock.  The rg of the ball is very low with an extremely high differential (in 15 pound weights).

The SmashTime is a nice solid particle ball that also has a low rg/high differential combination.

Both balls are excellent for truly heavy oil conditions.

Jeff, what drilling do you suggest for using either ball for heavy oil? Would one be better than another? Any suggestions?

I would prefer the Infinite One, but that may be an indication of my game.  I tend to prefer reactive covers versus particle covers.

If you're truly looking for a "heavy-oil" reaction, than you're attempting to create friction with the lane surface.  Increasing the amount of flare through a strong pin position is the easiest way to do that, once you have narrowed down your ball selection.

For my game (video at www.putfile.com/jeffussery) I tend to use 4 1/4" and 4 1/2" pin positions for my more aggressive equipment.  But other people with weaker bowler forces will need stronger pin positions.  It's really all relative to your physical game.

I have found if you sand the angular down it does out-hook the infinite.
