i have a 14# angular one and i know this is a stupid question but here it goes, has anyone out there tried to tame this bad-boy down? i know it's supposed to be a big snapper on the backend and it is, i love the hitting power and i am not that astute with drilling patterns, bottom line, has anyoe tried to change the cover to smooth it out, yet still have the power. this one has too much backend and i am thinking about selling it if i can't get it under control. i am a stroker about 15 mph and more of a full roller and stay behind the ball. any help would be greatly appreciated. p.s. i know i can redrill it, just thought i could tinker with the cover 1st, i do have a spinner.

Sand it down. I had an Angular one that i couldn't get to match up well with me so I sanded it and it gave it more of a roll to it. The problem I had with mine is I throw 18MPH with lots of hand and my ball just didn't like that it needed some dry backends to really move so I sanded it and it made it roll more which should be what you need to help you out. Take it to 500 abralon and leave it dull see how that works out for you.
