Whats a good 3 ball combo with V2's?
« on: January 07, 2004, 03:23:17 AM »
I own a V2 Particle, and must say I absoulty love this ball. With my ball speed and revs, I can use this ball on meduim to heavy oil with good results. The low RG gives my real good revs off my hand, the ball spins up in the mid lane and makes a smooth but hard arc to the pocket. This ball also carries as well as anything I own, expect maybe my CherryBomb.

The CherryBomb is a great ball, but I am a little to inconsistent for such a skid/flip ball. The V2 makes it look like I know what I am doing for the most part.

I want to build a 3 ball aresonal of V2's.

I was considering a V2 Sanded to use when the V2 Particle starts to roll out, and perhaps the new V2 Clean for when the oil is a little to light and I am comming in heavy with the other balls.

Anybody else throw a V2 combo, and what would your recommendations be?

By the way I throw average revs with a meduim track, but I usually throw the ball at 17.5 to 18 mph, so I don't usually play a very big hook.

Thanks for any suggestions...

Todd

HMMMM!!!!!.......My favorite combination of bowling balls .......I have 6 V2's....lol....I have two Solids, 1 Particle, 1 Dry, 1 Strong, and a Clean....I would have to say if you are looking for a complete line then go with the particle, clean , and dry. The solid if set up right is as strong as the particle. How is your particle set up then I can go from there? Don't get me wrong the solid to me is the best ball ever created. It is so versatile that it is not funny. Is your particle shiny or dulled?

Agree with 210. I had the particle but the reactive was just as strong. I actually had better length with the particle. I have picked up the clean and dry. The dry will move so don't be suprised.

I thought the original concept of the Vortex line was the 1,2 and 3 covering everything.
