Gamebreaker and Rival
« on: January 25, 2008, 11:13:50 PM »
Does the gamebreaker go earlier than the rival and which one hooks more? I'm looking for a ball i can play around the head pin with. I'm usually at 5-10 at the arrows.

"play around the head pin with" ? Not sure what that means, but the Rival at 4000 grit would be longer with more snap at the backend than the Gamebreaker at 2000 grit which would be earlier with more arc than snap OOB. Both balls are very versatile and you can't go wrong with either one!

I have both balls and my Rival outhooks the Gamebreaker by a few boards. The Gamebreaker gets down the lane further than the Rival and arcs back to the pocket. The Rival picks up more in the midlane and finishes a little harder in the back than the Gamebreaker. Since the difference between the two is only a few boards I changed the surface of the Gamebreaker to 4000 grit and now I have a great one two combo. I use the Rival on oilier conditions and the Gamebreaker when the lanes breaks down.

playing around the head pin meaning not going straight up the boards.
