V2 Sanded
« on: April 08, 2006, 03:16:26 AM »
Does anyone know what the hell ebonite was thinking by discontinuing this ball? It's the best ball that I've ever thrown either in Leagues and regionals. It doesn't matter what the condition, I have at least 2 of them on my card at any given time. I'm trying to find a couple others that I can pick up undrilled.

Do they think The One will take over for this ball or what? If it wasn't for the One being such a high maintenance ball and having limits on what drillings we can put on them then I could see that happening. Can anyone from Ebonite comment on this decision?

I dont know why they did either. I had one and had great success with it. Cracked all the way around one day and had to buy another. Not regretting it.

One of the guys here in Michigan had one and shot 300,300,279 with it, then it cracked all the way around also. I've had quite a few balls crack like that recently and I can't figure out why. The only times the balls are in the cold is when I take them from my house to the car and from the car to the lanes. I'm scared to death that these 2 will crack and I won't be able to replace them.

Is a V2 replacement in the works? If not, what's coming down the pipe?
Thanks.

I'm not the seller, but since it's such a great ball, I thought maybe one of you might appreciate this.

Look for me in the upcoming PBA Tour! I'll be the guy in the back row with the foam finger singing "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" during the 7th inning.
