big time

anyone else like the way this ball moves for tommy today on the show. I can see that he polished teh hell out of it, and i realllly like the way it rolls, reads the midlane and then hooks to the pocket. Looks like a good addition to an arsenal and to the ebonite line up.

Having a bowler like Tommy throw it doesn't hurt either.

If you have this ball Apex
(Apex Adrenaline) You are throwing The Big Time the change is the coverstock
Coverstock: Pearlized Big Bang Particle, a low loading of silica particles and PET sparkles
Core: Modified Fusionâ„¢ Core - Single density Fusion core body with no light bulb extension for lower mass bias differential. Large volume pancake block adds core torque and increases flare potential.

Big Time features Ebonite’s Bomber low load particle coverstock.(Pearlized Big Bang Particle)?????????

I will say is the same dog with a different collar(Color).

Boricano "Bomber" is their newest particle cover and has never been used before the Xcel particle so while the cores are indentical to the adrenaline the cover is not.

I ordered mine today from Buddies.  I'll let everyone know how it rolls.

I always like this core and with the new cover it really covers boards and hits the pins very clean. The cover issues is a very unique feature that really intrigues me always. They kinda feel and look the same but the final treatment that you do to it. Makes the difference. Like Tommy did to his Big Time good polish. And then we all need to have his same stoke and hit at the bottom of his swing to accomplish the same reaction. If not. The bowling ball will be another bowling ball. All said the ball was very impressive in Tommy Jones swing.

Tommy did look great throwing that ball, I think he is gonna win again this year and clinch player of the year.  Kinda off topic, is the finish of the Big Time really 100 grit?

I see alot of people going out to by this ball but unfortunately nobody can throw it like Tommy. I hope it does well for Ebonite but I'll stick to the Primetime Sanded and the Xcel Particle for now.

^^ Exactly right.  I was even considering this ball, but it'd definately be just for the shelf appeal.  I throw it nothing like TJ, and I quite really haven't seen anyone that can, and I would not be able to benefit from the drilling he had since that'd put the C.G so close to my PAP.  Plus with balls with swirling patterns, no two look alike anyway so one could look like a complete turd going down the lane.

The Big Time is as aggressive as the xcel and xxcel in box condition on a house shot, i used it last night and could not move left fast enough to keep up with the hooking heads i was attempting to chase the oil line on. My ball is drilled 5 x 4 1/2 pin above ring finger up about an inch and cg in thumb quad area with a long pin about 4 1/4 roughly, ball comes 1000 out of the box but feels rougher than xxcel or xcel did out of the box conditions.

If you want a cheap good looking big hooking monster spend your money on this ball and have fun looping the lane. This ball covers as many boards as my rule gp2 and cost about 50 bucks less, might be the best cheap hooking ball of the year.

I have shined it up looks better now and roll it again friday night we will see how it goes, that way i can feel better about using my more expensive balls for oiler shots. BTW ball ignores carrydown in box finish and never quits keeps on hooking and hooking it was hard to project it enought right most of the night. I hope polish helps tame it down to more even and not over/under so we will see how it goes friday night.

Just an update on this post. I recently bought a Big Time and have had some awesome results this past thursday (300 game - 798 series!). This ball is an great bargain and one of the best rolling balls I have ever thrown. Keep up the good work Ebonite!

I have thrown 9 out of 11 games over 200 with this ball it works better polished and i will be using it tonight for fun at the brand strike zone in sunset station casino. I cant wait to see what it does on a wall because it kills on the wet/dry shot that i struggled with many other balls this season on.
