Title: big time for lefties
Post by: skidflipper on April 19, 2005, 09:24:26 AM
I would like to hear from any lefties using the big time. I'm seriously considering one and would like some feedback. I usually throw for length and backend reaction and I'm not a cranker.

I'm a lefty and I got one for the ABC tournament and I really like it. I had mine drilled with a basic label leverage drilling and it responds better with each game I use it. Great control and hard hit. Don't be afraid to get one, it is a great ball for a great price.

In response to the thread question we have done a few at one of the shops and all people have really loved the ball especially at the $125 drilled price point. You might have to work with the cover depending on the conditions and your game (some polish mostly) but overall a nice piece for any medium-medium heavy.

Why are you guys jumping this thread. The guy's a lefty and wanted to hear from somebody that was a lefty and had a Big Time. Common sense would dictate that the left side is different because less guys playing there and he wanted some info from someone who is not making a judgement based on the constant changing conditions on the right side. I don't know how that wouldn't be an honest question. Give it a rest.

I think this is a reasonable question.  We all agree (don't we?) that the left side doesn't play the same as the right side.  So it just might be legit to want to know what the ball looks like in the hands of a lefty.  Sorry Charlest, et al, it's a legit question.  Compare it to asking "how does ball y act in a 30 unit flat shot compared to a heavy oiled (80 units in the middle) crown?"

Rags, my comment is a off course of the inquiry...but even more silly than the original....the original does have SOME validity (some of what you mentioned) but that's pushing it......

my comment is regarding a ludicrous comment that comes up from time to time when people compare lefties and righties...its just kills me!
