Surface prep for a V2 Power?
« on: October 20, 2005, 04:42:23 AM »
When I first got this I was easily able to use it on a medium heavy condition, but now that the ball is "broken in" a bit more, I'm getting too much movement and going through the nose or brooklyn.  Should I just polish it up a bit, or do something more drastic to the surface?  I've never done anything to the surface of any of may balls other than cleaning, so keep that in mind.    I'm more than willing to learn through experimentation, though!

I would Polish it. I polished mine a while back and didn't see any drop off in Production.

T,

Have you polished it to see if backend increases? That cover along with the low RG core and your high track really make for early burn. Not saying it is, but just pointing out a slight correlation.

I only polished it the one time. it's now back in box condition. it is a very strong ball, tough to control when the lanes dry up. It's got phenomenal hitting power however.
