This is my review of the Xxcel since there is no ball to review on the site. today i threw teh xxcel, the xcel particle, xcel pearl, and the real deal at a demo day for pro shop employees. The xxcel was amasing. As all of the demo day balls are, this one was drilled stack with the pin under the ring. Let me tell you, this ball is NOTHING like the xcel particle. The xcel particle has an ark to the pocket, while this new xxcel with its new core has amasing snap to the pocket. At first on fresh backends, the ball was way too strong, it ahd too much angle and i waS leaving weird splits and 9 and 8 pins with solid pocket shots. When there was carry down, this ball shined.  now it was more of a strong ark to the pocket, but wow did this ball hit hard and kill the pins. It kept the pins low, but shattered the deck. I was able to use it for a while because it got through all the cary down. if u want this ball, be aware that u might have to play deep because i warn you, this ball will hook. I love this ball, and i would get it but i never see heavy oil so i will not buy it. Over all, i give this a 8 out of 10.

they were suposed to, BUT the ebonite guy there said for now they decided to not demo it. I dont know y cuz me and my other buddies from the shop wanted to test it out cuz it has teh core from the Apex, and i thik they are really bringing it back inder a different name (just my opinion) But no they didnt have it

haha, well, no they werent demoing the big deal, BUT, my boss who was there, is a hammer rep and he had his big deal and high rev with him there. He was comparing the big deal to the xxcel. THis is what i saw, the xxcel flips WAY more and is more of a flip/strong ark. The big deal that he has is drilled 45 degrees (i think) and his ball is more of a roll and arky ball. But i would have to say that the big deal prob hits harder and mroe consistantly than the xxcel. But, then again, these balls arent at all alike in the fact that the gas mask core from the big blue that is in the nig deal was used for a heavier roll. The core in the Xxcel is a little different than the one int he pearl and the particle xcel's yet it is very flippy on clean backends, and a strong arc/flip on carry down, where it shines the best.
