Predator Pursuit, sport shot ball?

Just got back from an Ebonite Demo Day, and was highly impressed with the Predator Pursuit.  I used it for a while on a couple lanes with a sport condition pattern and seemed like I could do nothing but strike.  Does anyone else use this ball on a sport pattern?  Trying to determine if I was just in some kind of "zone" with that ball today or if it makes sense that it was so effective.  I'm hoping it would also find a place in my current arsenal for league/tournament play, Deuce-heavy oil, Blueberry Buzzsaw-medium, Ultra Hot-dry.  Any feedback on that ball would be appreciated as I'm trying to decide if I want to buy it.  Thanks.

I have mine setup to play straighter on the wet/dry shot. even rolling, mild hook. sweet.

My pin is above bridge and bomb next to thumb. I wanted this ball for fresh oil with definite 10-10 38' wet top hat dry sides, dry back.

I practiced on a similar pattern with it and look forward to my next league nite. It seams to be an outstanding control ball. when there is dry it turns nice and even without jumping. if the backend is tight I need to go elsewhere. but it could be a killer on clean lanes.

I will post a min review next tue.

I used one,drilled about 4x4 with the mass bias near the thumb,on a sport pattern. I was around 22 at the arrows and had a great look. Most others had no recovery right and hook if they missed left. On that day it was by far the best ball that I had.

I don;t care what EBonite says about this ball being the Apex Reflex. I was going to comment on this in another post, but deleted it because the specs of the Pursuit and the Reflex are identical, but NO WAY. My Reflex was not even close to being any sort of control ball and I drilled it 1:30, which makes almost every ball into a control ball, for me, to one degree or another.

My Reflex went long for a solid particle and had a largish and very unpredicatble backend - the very anti-thesis of a control ball. I changed the cover 6 ways from Sunday and it was always unpredictable. These just can't be the same balls, no matter what the specs say. Maybe this is like the old Pulse and the re-issue that Columbia screwed up royally??

The Reflex was generally a failure, almost like a test ball, while many people seem to like this ball. BTM also indicated the Pursuit had a strong but controlled hook for medium-heavy oil.
