Title: Changing surface on NVS
Post by: lrtrees on October 04, 2007, 08:58:28 AM
There have been several threads here about resurfacing the NVS and I am thinking about trying this.  I just want to make sure I understand before I take it in.  To do it right, will they take it down to 1000 abralon and then back up to 2000 or can they just do the 2000 abralon to get rid of the polish that is on the ball?

Thanks,
Lon

What exactly do you want to do? Resurface or adjust the surface?

I just want to adjust the surface.  Ball only has 10 - 12 games on it.

Assuming you want it to hook a little earlier, skid less, try 2000 abralon. That should smooth it out and give you a little earlier roll without burning up too early. That will take the polish off.
