Cleaning....a question

This has been bothering me for a while, about whether I'm doing the right thing or not. I clean my bowling balls after every use, using Track's Clean n'Dull about 99% of the time, and the other one percent with Ebonite's Powerhouse cleaner, or Storm's cleaner..and then only if I only used a ball for a couple of frames. And I also whipe my bowling ball after/before every shot with an ebonite or brunswick microfiber towel. In addition each of my bowling balls is carried in an ebonite powerhouse "rocker" with the microfiber on the inside.

Now....I usually wait until I get home from bowling to clean my equipment. Since I usually have to take someone home first, that's about a 20 to 30 minute wait.

The question: Is that good enough or should I clean my bowling balls immediately after the set is concluded? Am I doing an adequate job doing what I have been?

I agree.
Save the Clean and Dull (you do need to use it at home, if you follow the directions, which you should) for a once a month deep cleaning. It's not really necessary to use such a strong cleaner so frequently. Take about a minutes to use wipe down your strike balls with a regular cleaner BEFORE putting them back in the bag. You should be good to go.

Why not try the Wipe N' Strike cleaning wipes...

Very easy to use and one wipe is good for cleaning three balls..

where can you buy those wipes in the US? That website looks like its from the UK..

Thanks for all the responses. Looks like I'll be leaving the bowling alley smelling of orange from now on.

My friend, Mitch Honig, rolled a 300 last week, his second. I gave him a couple of bowling balls last summer...a Storm Trifecta and a Track FAZ. He rarely uses the FAZ. Since this summer, when he took up bowling once more after about a 5 year layoff, he's raised his average to 200, not far off of when he left bowling. What's funny about this, and pertinent to this board, is that, I believe, he's cleaned his Trifecta twice in that length of time, using a bottle of Clean N'Dull I gave him. It almost...almost makes me wonder about cleaning. Nevertheless I don't want ball death....the cleaning will continue, every nite I bowl.

There's clean as in getting rid of dirt marks and "clean" as in getting rid of the oil rings sitting on the surface. They won't be sitting there for long ...
