big time pearl vs overtime

i now have the overtime. tradeing my tsa for big time pearl. How much diff is the between this two balls?

TSA should be a good 3-5 boards stronger (at set up w/your feet) ...strong mass bias asymetrical vs. weaker mass bias asymetrical....

Not sure how the covers compare,...but I'd assume the TSA is stronger, but I'm not sure....

I second the comment about the one NOT being a heavy oil ball. Its more medium oil at best.. The overtime is a better heavy oil ball than the One. I have both.

Once again, I would not trade the TSA away. Thats a great heavy oil ball..

I can never find enought oil to use my tsa.What ebonit ball is good in oil?

Go with the Big Time for oil....the original. It's just as good and cheaper.

That's interesting. I'll have to look into it. I've heard a lot of good things about Big Time, but how would it compare with my Over Time? Glad to hear about The One not being for oil as I have it coming for dry lanes.
Bowlergee, did you ever get the Xxcel you were talking about wanting? I posted a topic a while back Xxxcel vs. The One, and several people told me that the Xxcel actually outperformed both. It has the same core and hook rating as the Xxxcel, but it also has a longer length rating to carry it through the oil. Can't say that I've tried mine on oil yet, but it certainly burns up on the dry lane. I had to put it away for it's own protection. :-/

Your quote above is not true. The one is NOT for dry lanes. Its for medium to medium heavy lanes. Its silly to use a ball like that for dry lanes..

I have never used the xxxcel, but the xxcel was a POS for me.. That ball was not well liked in my area..

I know that it isn't for dry lanes either, but at least I could pull one or two shots just to show it off to my house bowl friends. As for your experience with the Xxcel, what about it did you not like? I sincerely want to know, because truthfully, I haven't thrown enough bowling balls to know what I should look for  in it. Thanks!

thank goodness,  checked out the profile, and the person making the 189 house shot comment and high tech equipment is not norm duke,  
for some reason he choose's to end his reviews or response's
with that norn duke listed, which could make someone believe that norm duke the pba bowler said that,  i feel just like the sports illustrated reporter who got michelle dq,  "it never occurred to him"  well i am sorry,  it never occurred to me that br.com allows people to sign a name that is not there's even if their profile is available.  
now i can put norm duke on my list of favorite bowlers again, along with
brian, parker, and earl.
