What's the closest thing that ebonite has to the V2 Sanded in the current line? I'm thinking about trying to find a case of V2 sanded just to keep in the closet since that is my all time favorite ball. I haven't thrown anything other then that ball in 3 different layout/surfaces in the last 2 years and don't see that changing anytime soon, this includes tournaments, both PBA/sport and leagues.
In case I can't find anymore of them, I want to know what's closest to it so I can figure out layouts and surfaces to match up with what I have now.

What I can tell, I got my wife a No Limit and picking up her a SR300 both to replace her V2 Sanded. Not the same core nor cover, but from reading/talking to those who have them, either is close with cover/drill adjustments, IMO. I doubt if my wife will take the SR300, not her "colors", but it's a smoother arc ball. Just throwing those out there, something you'd have to see for yourself.

The Over Time is a great ball, I love mine, versatile and responsive to hand changes just like the V2, it's a V2-like ball, but definitely not the V2. I say this because I had 3 V2s and honestly didn't like either one of them, I don't know what it was, but I do love my Over Time. Not that it means much, but the Over Time might match up to one person's style more than the V2 (and vice versa). I would love to try another V2, but just haven't had the opportunity.

Chunk,
Tornados are great, but deceptively strong off the dry. I would almost go with a 2x2 layout with a crater on your axis, abralon to 4000 (500, then 1000, then 2000, then 4000) and then either Extender or Particle Polish on top of that

For me the Game Time was. It provided the overall smoothness in the same motion. Game Time was weaker polished though than the V2 was. I had them both drilled the same, pin over ring(5" to PAP, no x-hole)

FOR SURE THE CLOSEST BALL IN THE CURRENT LINE TO THE V2 BLACK/BLUE SANDED IS THE SMASH TIME. The ball is real good and real close to the V2.

Chunk - count me in...both for the original and the matrix dynasty.
Another ball which is similar is the showtime sanded.. good continuation like the V2. Hope someone from ebonite responds. I have a NIB v2 sanded, but wasn't able to get another one for reserve.
