NVD question?
« on: September 30, 2008, 05:59:57 AM »
I was wondering who all has thrown the NVD?  I already have a Dimension and a Black Widow Solid polished with like 500-800 games on it and wanted to try something from Ebonite.. How do you like it?  Does it handle carrydown well? I want to drill it long and strong.  I threw one a demo day sunday and it was a awesome ball to throw.. Any advice would be appreciated... Thank you!

since you have a dimension i would pass on  the NVD. they are both very strong balls. if you want to replace your BWS and want to with ebonite, id go with the gamebreaker or pin slasher but i dont know much about the pinslsher. or if it is even remotely close to the BWS. i heard its supposed to be close to the V2 power. but if you just want to replace the BWS i would suggest th earch rival as the best option.

Agreed. I would say the NVD and Dimension are very close in strength and reaction shape. I like my NVD but no sense in having 2 of the same ball.

Well i was really impressed with NVD and thought i get this one with a pin down drill...My Dimension is drilled pin up and i think its 5 X 3 and it has a nice reaction.. I got it from a friend for 50 bucks and it has less than 20 games on it. Im not really trying to replace the BW because it still rolls very well but only on dry conditions.  I really just want this ball and alternate the Dimension and NVD from time to time...

brought my surface to 2000, and it handles moderate carrydown relatively well.

I have the NVD and I have rolled my friends Dimension and I'd take my NVD anyday over his Dimension. My NVD had more movement at the breakpoint and read the midlane about the same. Just my $.02, Bruce
