Considering either the one or big one
« on: February 17, 2006, 10:24:01 PM »
I'd like to purchase my next performace ball from ebonite. After being dissapointed with brunswick, I'm considering the one or the big one.

I'm a stroker with low-medium revs and medium-slower speed. I bowl first and second shift on wood lanes and a tighter THS pattern. I normally encounter medium/heavy oil conditions.

I am just looking for suggestions.

I would suggest both of them for you since you bowl 2 shifts. The Big One for the early shift of heavy oil and The One for 2ns shift when they start to break down and become more of a medium oiled condition. Or you'll have to pick a shift and then whixh ball is better for which shift. JMO so hope it helps.

I've been considering the vapor zone/absolute inferno as well as the one and big one as well. But I'm pretty much wary of Brunswick since I am a low rev player and their equipment caters to higher revs.

I wonder if the one and big one work well with rev challenged styles.

My personal experience. Storm has worked well with my style and shall I say, rev rate. Brunswick on the other hand, is a bit tricky. After putting a smoking inferno through it's paces in my league and open bowling, I can't ever imagine owning a punisher or rampage. Lanes have to be pretty toasted for me to get use out of my SI.

I'm even considering a vapor zone, but I'm wary like I said.

The big one looks better and better to me every day. I see the one everywhere in my house so it can't be all that bad for such a high gloss ball.
