Yeah, the Crossfire is a pretty sick ball. Unfortunately it was overshadowed by the release of "The One" series, but for the price it is a BEAST!
I found that the ball actually has a pretty solid midlane read compared to most pearl reactives in the Ebonite family past. But the backend is phenominal on this ball! It was rare for me to leave a corner pin with it at all.
The cover seems fairly versatile. I had a stint where I hit it with 1000 abralon to even out the reaction and it was as predictable as could be without losing that wonderful hitting power on the deck.
Polished, the ball creates angle on medium conditions that even the Angular One can't match. It's that good.
I had mine drilled Pin-up, and about 4 1/2" to PAP.
