Looked like someone kicked it left. We were right behind the lanes, awesome.

I'll have to try and watch it today. I've been interested with that ball since it was first announced.

The cyclone's specs are indeed interesting. It seems like this ball could be a good pick for many medium conditions. Has anyone here tried it on heavy oil or on the burn?

Since it is the One with a symmetric core I wouldn't consider it a replacement for a freeze or slingshot or other entry level less oil bowling balls. I'd say it is a very aggressive ball for the entry point, but not something I would want for when the lanes get drier.

Still you will have some idiot saying "I'm hooking the whole lane and it is an entry level ball". When your biggest hooking or most successful cover from 5 years ago is now on your entry ball I guess you have really made some changes.

The One 2005

"t
he premier release in our new high performance series that pushes the entry angle to the extreme. Designed for medium to heavy oil patterns, the breakthrough GB-10.7 coverstock absorbs oil like a sponge, giving you more direct contact with the lane surface. As you exit the oil pattern, the cut to the pocket is razor sharp. "

Henceforth, Super Freeze. Ebonite has the Maxim, polyester then the Cyclone.
The Cyclone is entry level resin for Ebonite.
Yeah, it hooks a little.

The others listed are entry level resins for those companies. Going plastic to The One is a large gap in performance. No doubt for any bowler at retail prices it is the most bang for the buck.

That Cyclone is strong, but very acceptable to surface changes form 500
to 4000 the ball gives you so many different looks. I really like this ball.

Good Lawd!  I threw my Cyclone for the fist time in oob condition. Used it on a broken down shot, second game, on a THS.

This thing just went "Left turn, Clyde"!!! A very strong piece. I have mine drilled for length with an arc shape. It out hooked many of my hi-perf pieces that I have in my bag!

I will have to alter the surface to use this thing.
