Hey fellas what are your thoughts on this ball. I have one but if there isnt enough oil out I cant even throw it on the lane. For some reason the drill on the ball seems irratic. It has the pin right next to the ring finger with the cg below it maybe 2 inches and the bomb 2 inches from the cg right next to the thumb. Everything in a straight line. I was wondering what are the thoughts of this ball and what are the thoughts on the drill that i have on it.

I have the same core but different cover.  I have a Matrix Conquest w/ reactive resin coverstock.  My ball is designed for a skid/flip reaction.  I lost that after using it on dry lane conditions.  It just rolls out.

I resurfaced the ball to 1200 grit and use ebonite factory finish polish.  Next, I applied some neotac hook-it.  It no longer skid/flips; however, it does hook alot.

I don't know if you can sand a particle ball like yours.  Ask your local proshop to restore the ball with original 15 matte (1500 grit?).  You might want to try Ultimate Black Magic Plus. Just a thought..

I have one.. its a ball for med to heavy oil depending on the speed and revs of the bowler.. put it away if the heads are light to dry..

To resurface it, use scotch brite of different grits, start from 800-1000-1200.  If I recall correctly 1200 was the original factory grit.  For me I drilled it rev-lev for heavy oil, it a condition specific ball when drilled like this but it does work very well for me..

The ball seems rather strong, the only thing that gets me with it is that I cant really read the break points well with it unless it is very soupy out there. If i throw it just when i think it will break to the pocket and hold it will over jump or just be inconsistent at the breakpoint. I may try and put it back to its orginal cover just to see whats what. On house conditons the ball will hit the midlane and just jump to the left weird. I assume it just doesnt have enough oil to use it correctly. I spoke to my pro shop guy and he told me that the ball is probably made to be played with inside lines instead of the outside like I play. Even swinging the ball it will roll weird when it hits the midlane.

intensity...  I had one.  For about a week.  It was the absolute worst ball I have ever owned.  This is followed very closely by the primal instinct, then the apex aggression, apex obsession and the TPC  player.  The only Ebonite equipment I have ever owned that even showed any promise was the old tomahawk high torque and the v2 sanded.  I understand equipment doesn't always match up with a certain person, but it seems as if Ebonite could do better than two out of seven...and I'm being generous with the two as I didn't care for either, but they were at least somewhat playable...  
Anyways, not to get off the subject, but

I had my intensity drilled with pin above the fingers and cg below...near the palm.  I got a terrible over/under reaction.  I tried out of the box surface....polishing....sanding....  and didn't seem to find a shot where I would get a decent reaction...

I would suggest cutting your losses now and trying to sell it.  If you are dead set on using Ebonite equipment, look into the V2 line...

Hey the ball is actually a 15 and a half but it doesnt feel heavy when i throw it. Send me a message and we could probably work something out. I had a chance to bowl with the ball on heavier conditions and it seeemed to roll pretty good to the pocket. But i have since then change the way I bowl and so forth and when i tried to bowl on some heavy conditons again compared to my animal it was irratic at the breakpoint. Well let me clear this up, when I bought this ball it was from a guy I met. The ball was so strong he could never use it, so he decided to sell it. I bought it from him and experienced the same thing. I have maybe 6 games on it. Im not partial to ebonite like I use to be. I have the apex aggression but now it is a glorified dry lane ball for me now, and I have a vortex 2 trimax pearl. I now use some of the inferno line and a few track balls. I have the untamed and the regular animal with the intense inferno and the original inferno.

I actually the other day ran into a descent heavy shot and the ball performed well. It would go long and recover like HELLLLLLL. I had to move inside because it would go down and then make a monsterous move to the pocket and shred the rack. Im actually rather impressed. It is just as strong as my animal but the animal to me is more controlled.
