Disappointed with the NVS
« on: September 06, 2007, 06:31:52 AM »
When I originally got my NVS I really thought it was a good ball. However, I am now seeing it is a very condition sensitive ball. If you aren't VERY precise with this ball it will cause a lot of headaches. I have found if I touch the outside you can forget it. It will not come back from the outside for me. I found the only shot I have with it is playing inside and I have much better options playing there than with this ball. Overall after really like it when I bought it I am now very disappointed with it and feel the TNV is a MUCH better ball and now miss my TNV after it cracked and replaced it with a raid, even though I like the Raid. Probably will be getting rid of my NVS.

You need to read the Jeff Ussery review, if you try to play the same part of the lane as the TNV that is a mistake.

I play straight up the boards with the NVS and score well with it, it does get too flippy in the track by game 3 though. If you knock off the polish it can hook with your resurgence or any other oiler, used it should fetch 80 or so shipped on here if you choose to sell it.
