Title: Does anyone know anything about this ball?
Post by: Tugger on August 19, 2009, 08:13:16 AM

I've never seen or heard of this ball before. Did I miss something with the Nv line that I wasn't aware of?

Thanks

It was never released to the public. Mike Edwards and Patrick Allen threw it on a show once though.

I got a new one at the house  Don't know what I want to do with it.  Its supposed to be strong with very aggresive oil abosorption cover.  They say hooked a good 8 boards more than the Total NV, but don't know how well it would compare to the current stuff.  Probably the main reason I haven't drilled it yet.

Seeing what some used ones are selling for I would hold onto it for another year or three then sell it you should make a pretty penny.

Yup. Original NV was a kind of limited pre-relelease that never went into official sales, just before the NV series was released. Collector's item, I'd say.

If its like all the other NVs then your wasting your money. Well ok, the Total NV was just ok. Its crazy how they can get $500 for it, like really people are actually dumb enough to but this.

At least for me, I loved the total nv and nvd.  Hated the complete and never threw the nvs cause i heard it sucked too.  I'll probably end up drilling the nv just to see what it does.  Supposed to be strong

it was released to pro staffers and pro shops that ordered 24 total nv's. but each shop that did that was only allowed 1. there were not very many released. In my opinion it was the best rolling in the series too
