dulling the one

I was wondering if anyone has used the ONE dulled. I am considering dulling my One. If so what types of results were achieved ?

I took my "The One" down to 500 Abralon. For me it created a sooner break point with a tamer backend reaction(not so snappy) way more controllable than it was OOB.

I had to take the One down to 500 since our house decided to lay out a heavy pattern.  It reads early and smooth in the back end.  The ball doesn't roll out for me when the lanes open up and the backend is very controllable.  I like it!!

i've taken mine down to a grey pad (1000 grit).
It is plenty dull enough for almost any normal house type patter.
It still hits good, and doesn't come behind the headpin for 10 pins as often.

Hey skevr,

I had a one that I brought down to 800 grit. Read the lanes better and wasn't as squirty. Didn't lose any significant hitting power either. If you try dulling it down...good luck!
