ebonite pivot point vs Honor
« on: January 27, 2015, 07:27:34 PM »
What's the difference between Ebonite Pivot Point and Honor? And are these bowling balls stronger that Track MX16?

Right now I'm using Track MX16 as my first ball but I want something stronger at the backend.

Thanks.

Keep in mind what Doc is trying to say is with the balls out of box.  You can sand or polish or alter surface and see one ball which shouldn't be stronger than the other appear that way.  Layout can also dictate ball reaction.  Doc is solid with his advice but if you see it in your center as different, there are a number of variables that could be the reason

Update on my Pivot point:
Sand it using 500 abralon.
Highest score so far is 290 during practice.
longest string of strikes is 11 (from 2nd frame to 12th)
Highest 4 game series is 920.

A friend gave me his cyclone. Drilled for right hand.  Weight is close to 15lbs.  I'm planning to have it plugged, layout and drive for me (left handed) but I normally use 14lbs or a little over 14lbs.

Is it advisable to use a heavier ball as my next option after pivot point?

When I ball down from Pivot point, is cyclone a good option?

Thank you in advance.
