Sounds good to me, right now I have Big one, Crossfire, Big Time Pearl, and Maxim for my spares. I am real happy with them.

1,B1, v2 clean, v2 sanded. 2 longer going balls, 2 shorter reading balls in OOB condition each should handle varying oil amounts. Tons of variations from EBO would work will depend on what you like after throwing them. Some people desire different hook shapes to others.

Plastic, Ice ( Shined ), v2 sanded ( best ball on earth ), the one, big One.
Done!

I'll be testing mine out tomorrow morning at league. They've been puttin down a longer pattern and my V2 Sanded is not moving much at all.

I had my XXcel drilled up with pin 4 1/2" from PAP under bridge with MB swung out by the VAL. There's a weighthole about an inch above the MB as well. Pic in profile. I could hardly get the ball to turn the corner it was that strong. It burned up so fast. My V2 however, got the down the lane well and had a nice arc on it. It was actually too weak for the first game in league. Had to slow it down a couple mph to get it to turn. But the XXcel is very strong in my eyes. Can't wait to see some oil to use it on.

Here's an another update:
Used it today in a tournament that had a decent amount of oil down. Your THS. I tried playing outside with it but it proved way too strong unless you took all your hand out of it and sped it up. You could easily play 40 out to 7 with ease even with my lack of revs to begin with. I'm by no means a fluffer but I'm nothing like a cranker. The ball had a nice continous arc on it and actually made a pretty strong move considering the drill. The MB is also outside my VAL making it want to rev up hard and early.
What amazed me most was the was that it got down the lane pretty well as the lanes started drying up. It's not condition specific to heavy oil like others oilers like the Obsession. It also threw the pins around like they weighed nothing. The ball kicked out the 4 pins like nothing I've ever thrown. It probably was the best condition to use it on but it definitely left an impression.

LOL There is no right answer, it all depends on your style. I swear by the Xcel line and curse The One. Of the balls I've tried, I'd say Ebonite Obsession (soup), Xxcel (medium-heavy), Xcel Pearl (medium light-light).

Look for me in the upcoming PBA Tour! I'll be the guy in the back row with the foam finger singing "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" during the 7th inning.

I just recently took it down to about 600 and have yet to use it but I'm sort of a low tracker so I need a fairly strong ball to kick in heavy oil.

Big One out of box
Big One polished
XXXCEL
Black Ice

Because the Big One starts up sooner it's earlier but also has good backend until the ball absorbs some oil to smooth out the backend.

yup have to agree with the obsession.. at its time, it was the earliest rolling ball in the whole Ebonite line.. really good with heavy oil.. drill it with rev leverage and go to work..!!
