Ebonite Arsenal
« on: March 13, 2005, 10:13:21 PM »
After some discussions with a few of the better coaches I know, it has been suggested that I switch all my equipment over to Ebonite. We came up with this idea because I throw my Killer Instinct Sanded and Pearl so well, and they suggested that if I was looking for a new ball, getting something by Ebonite that could match up would make sense since I already get on well with their equipment. My other equipment is a Storm X-Factor (drilled with pin up and to the right of finger / cg in middle of grip) which I typically used on fresh backends and medium conditions and an Eraser Blaze (Pin straight above fingers / cg in middle of grip) for drier lanes. What Ebonite equipment would match up in place of these?

I would for sure get an xcel particle and fit it somewhere in your lineup. Its a great ball that can handle medium to heavy oil with no problems..

If they only made a ball that would carry that da_n 7 pin (and I am right handed!!)

I would think that an Xcel Pearl and a VC Clean should replace those two balls nicely.

However, an Ebonite Arsenal isn't complete without atleast one V2 Blue/Black.

I carry an all-Ebonite lineup, 4 V2's, a PrimeTime, an old Matrix Tps and a Gemstone. Most with the same drill layout. Tends to keep things consistent. I know what ball to switch to when conditions change, or depending on my mood, hehe.
