I got the one about two weeks back as a ball for my league, and I immediately loved the ball.  I decided to go Ebonite based on this experience and many good things I overheard.  I just punched up the Big Time Pearl and plan to punch the Black Ice this week.  Another "The One" is sure to come.  However, I need a ball for straight up medium oil.  I have been considering the overtime or the V2 sanded.  Which ever one I get, I plan to drill it pin over and polish to 1000 or 1500.
The One- box finish (will take down a bit) drilled it like drill #1, but with a closer pin to pap and the same pin to mb.
The Big Time pearl - box finish same drill as one.
* Black Ice- probably pin a bit higher and same distance to pap (in other words up and kicked out) with a weight hole in the thumb quadrant if it is too even.
* The One # 2 - pin under aprox 4" from pap sanded to 360 with rough buff

If you like the Big Time Pearl then go with the Overtime...same core with resin coverstock.

I will probably incert the OT in the arsenal, but I've heard GREAT things about the V2 sanded.  That is is the best V2 and even possibly the best ebonite ball period.  Any comments on the V2?

You can't go wrong with a V2-Blue/Black...

...I've had one in my bag for the past few years (gone through a few of them) and it's still a good performer for me.  Think about it, Ebonite has had it in their line up for a LONG time so it has got to be working for them.  Though I suspect that somewhere down the line the ball will be replaced or revamped to combat the slicker oils that are utilized today.  That will be a sad day in my eyes...
