Ebonite Ball Covers....
« on: September 07, 2007, 02:06:27 AM »
Anywhere on the site, where I can find ball grits?

I picked up a Lanebreaker, and would like to know the OOB on it.
Couldn't find it on the EBO site...I probably can't see it.

TIA

Is there a place were you could find out the factory finish on all Ebonite balls? I am interetsed in what grit and finsih was used on the Big One, Angular One, and Smashtime Pearl.

Do they let you use that at the bowling alley?

I think just before the website was revamped, Ebonite published the OOB surface in the tech center section, along with the RGs and other stuff. Sadly, this information is gone, and the missed to put it (at least) in the current ball section.

There's a chance you might find what you're looking for in the archives of the web for Ebonite.  You will probably have to do some searching through the various years but here's the link.  Copy and paste the entire url into your browser, otherwise you'll go to one site or the other.
