Ebonite ball needed

I have a buddy who has Ebonite equipment & wants me to suggest a new ball for him on our THS. He is a 180-185 Ave bowler with Medium revs, low to medium speed who does stay under the ball. He struggles in the mid lane with accuracy & over reaction due to strong drilling. Since I do not use Ebonite stuff I reviewed their lines for him to match his style and do like the Magic Touch, The One and the Playmaker In Order.
Any suggestions?

Have all three and would pick the Magic Touch and under would be the Playmaker, cannot go wrong with any but The One is the least versatile in my hands.

I suggest knocking off the polish off the Magic Touch by hand or a 4k pad on a spinner to make it more arcy and less jumpy.

I would forget about the ONE. It has a tendency to decide when it wants to shine and when it does not.

The Magic Touch scuffed a tad would do wonders on a lot of conditions and than when the backends torch up a bit, a switch to the playmaker would be awesome.

Some people believe that the playmaker can be used on most conditions as an "A" ball. I have found mine to be quite adaptable to most conditions.

Since he has low to medium ball speed and is bowling on a THS, I would stay away from the low RG stuff and go with a Boom. It is a medium RG ball that will provide a strong but smoother backend reaction.
