Smashtime Pearl= great piece of equipment
« on: February 06, 2007, 02:24:40 PM »
I wanted a ball to compliment my Total NV so I picked up a Smashtime Pearl. I had it drilled up before my Tuesday Sportsman league. Its drilled 12:00 leverage (3x3) with a small weight hole. I missed practice so I was totally guessing where to line up with the ball and opened the 1st frame. I kept throwing it and was finally beginning to find a decent shot near the end of the game and shot 203, then a 257 and finally a 279 for a 739 series. Not bad for the first 3 games out of the box.. The 279 was open then 11 in a row..

I am really surprised there is not more talk about this ball, but I guess with the angular one coming out at about the same time, this one just slipped by the radar.. If your looking for very good reactive pearl ball, I highly recommend this ball.. I think I finally hit a homerun with the layouts I picked on this ball and the Total NV thats drilled 3 1/2 x 3 1/2..

Thanks again to Ron, Ed and the boys in Hopkinsville!! They are making some great stuff right now..

Jim i will check around for you on a no limit in 15lbs, today i picked up a fury and a shift cheap. I like have staffer friends during the mega bucks tournaments, they cannot throw the free balls they get. So i get to acquire these gems for half price or less lol
