is this a good ball for dry lanes?

Yes it is a great ball for dryer lanes..

I had one and loved it, just didn;t see dry conditions enough to really use it..

Excellent ball, I love mine. It's a good med/light ball, but far too strong for dry.

The Bash is not a true dry lane ball unless you are really speed dominate or very rev challenged.  The Bash is a Blue Ice with a stronger cover.  If you want a "true" dry lane ball, one that Ebonite produces, go with a Scout/R.
