Got my TNV last night!
« on: February 01, 2007, 11:21:19 PM »
I picked mine up last night from my driller.  Went with a variation of the  Tommy Jones trick layout.  He set it up with the pin 4 1/2" from my PAP and 1 1/2" from my VAL with the mb at about 75 deg.  He said that should keep it from flaring over the thumb hole, which I guess can be a problem with this drilling.

He also scuffed the cover with 4000.  He said that has been the best for him and others that he has drilled.  He had 6 TNV's punched up waiting for pick up!  LOL!

Anyway, I hope to get some games on it this weekend and give a full review.

wow, i would like an explanation as to how this drilling would flare over the thumb hole.  Ive heard of pin downs hitting the fingers on high trackers, & full roller layouts clipping thumbs, but ive never heard of a layout like this(extremely high/far out pin with a MB in the palm(ish) causing the ball to catch the thumb.

Can i get an explanation as to why it would?
